Cheyenne DePree , better known as Yen, is an African-American model and actress based in Los Angeles. She has become a popular muse for many photographers due to her exotic natural beauty, high energy, & dedication to the work.

Cheyenne DePree was born August 12, 1991, in Henderson, Nevada. She is the daughter of Billy, who is part Cherokee and French and Marcia Estelle, of Jamaican and Creole descent, in Pearland, Texas. In June 2008, months before her 17th birthday, she was offered a contract with the Neal Hamil Modeling Agency. She was sent on her first go- see and in no time became known as a “Doa Doll”, walking the runways for designer Chloe Doa each year. She became a favorite runway model for Macy’s and Neiman Marcus during Houston’s annual Spring and Fall Fashion Week. In the summer of 2010, after a face to face meeting, Cheyenne signed immediately with Wunder Model Management and moved to Los Angeles at 19 years old to work on her career as a fashion model.

Cheyenne’s first season in Los Angeles moved quickly. She booked with designers for LA Fashion Week in October 2010 and walked the runway for the Spring fashion week in 2011. She found herself being booked for small parts on a few of television’s hottest shows such as, Key and Peele, Hawthorne, and Cedric the Entertainer’s Urban Circus, a cable variety show special. Also in 2011, she was featured in an online commercial advertisement for Nars cosmetics. The summer of 2011 she went on to sign with The Daniel Hoff Agency for acting and commercials. Later booking jobs with E news for a televised segment and HollyScoop Tv as a personality/ host.

Constantly progressing, in 2012 Cheyenne booked her first major sports ad with Adidas for Finish Line. She also continued to receive direct bookings for television opportunities on The Mentalist and The Exes. Ironically, on one of the episodes she portrayed a Victoria Secret model, which is one of her future goals. Looking to expand her opportunities Cheyenne signed with Scout Models in San Francisco and she went on to book her first national beauty campaign with Benefit Cosmetics. She also found herself being booked as a featured “It Girl,” for several recording artists. This allowed her to use other talents such as dancing and acting. She was blessed to be featured in the 2012 Grammy Award winning, Pop music video "Boyfriend," by Justin Bieber. She was also featured in the 2012 Grammy nominated, Rap video "Daughters," by Nas and Beyonce's Superpower 2013.

2013 - 2015 Cheyenne was a model hostess for the 2013 Oscars and booked national commercials with TJ Maxx, Nike, Dave and Busters, Adidas, Nars Cosmetics and Fiat.  She went on to sign with Wilhelmina Models. Booking jobs with Sketchers, Target, Ardell Lashes, Dose of Colors, Shoe Dazzle, Drykorn Germany and a contract with Dillards for 1 year.

2016- 2017 happens to be one of Cheyenne's best. Becoming one of the youth faces for Nordstrom's Haute look, being featured in People's magazine for an Ever Glaze campaign, booking a major jean campaign with both Lee and Hudson  jeans. Later on in the year she landed a spring editorial for Vera Bradley. What really set the bar for her was booking a job for PINK Victoria secret. She has now signed on with Boss Models in South Africa.

Though Cheyenne is still passionate about modeling she looks forward to adding entrepreneur to her resume and is excited about what her future has in store.
